LARGEST INSURANCE GROUP FROM THE MID-WEST

CLIENT

One of the largest insurance groups from North America.  Formed in 1968, it stands among the nation’s top 25 property casualty insurer groups, based on 2013 net written premiums.

CHALLENGE

In a project that took 1250 hours we have developed an app for both Android & iOS, and it allows insured customers to register claims, check their account and communicate with the insurer. The app also allows staff to have access to sensitive documents regarding the financial status of customers.

An important development task was to work without web services on legacy structures developed in .net and parse the website and handle the decryption of data at application level page by page without compromising the security of data and fast.

RESULTS

We have created an app in 4 months that operates very fast and secure, in the same way a modern technology app would operate. The code was refactored to follow advance principles of aspect oriented programming.
